Petticoats & Parasols Art Event

I attended the Petticoats and Parasols Art Event in Savannah, GA hosted by Sweet Jenn Hayslip. This was the first Art event I have ever attended and one that I will never forget. Jenn paid attention to every detail and made this event so special for each and every one of us. Roselyn-Sue's Southern Sugar Bar was so beautiful and the candy was delicious. I met so many nice and talented women and made so many new friends. This event has inspired me like I have never been inspired. The classes were taught by Christine Rose Elle, Tiffany Kirchner-Dixon, and Jenn Hayslip. All three of these women are beautiful, smart, talented women that one never forgets. I also met Jo Packham, founder of the magazine"Where Women Create". She is an amazingly approachable person and just a book of knowledge. I was blessed to be seated next to Jo most of Saturday at the Art Workshop held at the Ford Plantation. Jo spoke on Thursday night and talked to many of us women individually during this weekend event. Her words were so encouraging and inspiring. I enjoyed shopping with Charlene and Heidi on Friday - we shopped at The Paris Market and other places and bought many treasures. I am hoping Jenn has another event next year and if so I will attend if not then I am thankful that I was blessed to be able to attend this one.
